Dyersburg State
Community College
Established in 1969, Dyersburg State Community College is a growing and dynamic institution charged by the Tennessee Board of Regents to serve the educational needs of a seven-county area of northwest Tennessee.   Spread across a tree-filled 100-acre campus, the Dyersburg location boasts a variety of facilities including the E.B. Eller Administration building, the Dale F. Glover Education Center, a Student Center, a state-of-the art Learning Resources Center, the Security Bank Community Learning Center and the E. H. Lannom, Jr., Gymnasium.  DSCC also offers increased access to education via technology-assisted instruction, distance learning and course offerings at convenient locations including the DSCC Gibson County Center, the DSCC Jimmy Naifeh Center at Tipton County and the DSCC Obion County Training and Education Center. The college offers associate degree, technical and academic certificate, honors, and international studies programs.

Students from all walks of life attend DSCC.  While most of our students begin their college career immediately upon their high school graduation, we have a number of students who are returning to the classroom after many years.  In fact, the average age of our students is 28!  Knowing this, our instructors and staff work with students to accommodate their personal, professional and educational needs.
