Designed with young drivers in mind, this app uses real data from the past five years to show the highest density of car crashes in Tennessee based on the location, number of incidents, and the time of day they occurred. Familiarizing yourself with the hot spots highlighted on the maps can keep both novice and experienced drivers alert when traveling through dangerous traffic zones, providing safer driving experiences in your local city.
The data is provided by TITAN and incorporates real crashes to statistically show the highest crash areas.
The maps show:
1) Total crashes over last 5 years
2) Crashes over the last 5 years that occur between 6:00 am and 2:00 pm
3) Crashes over the last 5 years that occur between 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm
4) Crashes over the last 5 years that occur between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am
5) Crashes over the last 5 years that occur between 7:00 am to 8:00 am and 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm (to show school time activity)
