Teachers Sharing Ideas and Making Connections with Colleagues

As a group, teachers and their students represent our greatest hope for a healthier and more just future for our earth and all its residents. Young men and women choose education as a career because they realize that each child is precious, and each one deserves a good education and the opportunities he/she needs to fulfill his/her potential. Teachers teach because they believe in people and they believe we can do better.
One of the goals of BoPH is to enable our growing network of teachers, of all ages and backgrounds, to share ideas with their colleagues around the world. This web site will include a forum for teachers to tell each other about they are doing with their classes, share good news about service projects, ask questions, and offer comments about what is working for them. As technological advances make it easier for us to communicate with others we have an excellent opportunity to gain new understanding about other people and cultures, and a chance to teach each other about respect, tolerance, empathy, compassion, cooperation and social justice.
